I think the hardest part of this program to me is getting to D1 on time. This morning was one of those morning where I woke up really late. I was determine to get there. Once you get there and exercise, all is great. I think exercising the mind to get up and exercise is a battle in itself. We all have a thousand of excuse of not exercising but coming up with a thousand to excerise is hard.

Today was a very easy going day. We work with the woodend pole and did what seem like thousand of lunges and squats.

Only 3 weeks left. Can I say today was a hard day? I liked the work out today because it was more like a relay day. Exercise for 1 minute and run football field.

Dinner Party Anyone

I love going out to a nice resturant but have you notice that service is not up to par. The whole dining experience has been boiled down to rushing you thru your meal so the next big group can get your table. The food is no better than a fast food resturant but triple the price.

Wouldn't you love to have a nice dinner at home with friend or families without having to cook. Chef Connie can plan the menu, shop for the groceries, cook the meal and set the table, and clean the the kitchen. You can be the gracious hostess and spend more time with friends and family.

The holidays can be hectic and why not leave the cooking to Chef Connie. I can provide great side dishes and awsome desserts. Remember everything is home cooked so no weirded chemical in your food.

Great Day

I think today was one of the hardest day I had. We used a 25lb plate to do varies exercises such as lunges and squats. Think about doing 20 squats and lunging 5 yards with the plate resting behind your shoulder. That was a very challenging exercise.

Testing

We are in the 7 week. Wow!!! I had my mid way dunk today to measure body fat. I did go down in my body fat but gain lean mass, so I gain a pound. At first glance I was a little disappointed because my clothes are fitting different. David at Fitness Wave state this is to be expect so I am moving on.

A new move in training was a full push up and walking on my hand and feet for 5 yards. That was a challenge. Doing push-ups are challenging in my opinion and was frustrated just a bit. I laugh about it in the end. Laughter is always the best medicine.

Easy Day

Today was just a question and answer session for the whole hour. There were some great questions. I ask question on how much water a person should drink a day. A person should drink half their weight in water. If a person weight 160 pounds, drink 80 ounces of water. I know some people are not big advocates of drinking water. Water is a very essential part of the body. Depending on the size of the person, the body is about 60% to 70% of water. Water helps transport oxygen to cells, remove waste, protect joints and organs and much more.

Most people walk around dehydrate and do not realize it. Think about that hunger pain you may have. Most of the time it means you are dehydrated especially if you just eaten an hour ago. A good tip someone gave me a couple of years ago was to drink a glass water and wait 10-20 minutes. Are you still hungry or full?

What a day?

Today was pretty brutal in my opionion. We started at 5 yard line did 5 push- up, dragged 50 pound sand bag another 5 yard did 3 berpies(I like to call them donkey kicks), and dragged sandbags back to the original 5 yards and started all over again. We progressed additional 5 yards. So essentially, we went back and forth for about 50 yards. Pretty hard task but I finished.

Testing

I had my VO2 test and Life Line Screening performed. With the VO2 testing, I did not realize my whole head had to be under water. I do not swim. All in all it was not that bad. Once I grasp the concept of breathing under water, pulling up that bar at the same and holding my breath long enough to be weighted, I was ok.
