Easy Day

Today was just a question and answer session for the whole hour. There were some great questions. I ask question on how much water a person should drink a day. A person should drink half their weight in water. If a person weight 160 pounds, drink 80 ounces of water. I know some people are not big advocates of drinking water. Water is a very essential part of the body. Depending on the size of the person, the body is about 60% to 70% of water. Water helps transport oxygen to cells, remove waste, protect joints and organs and much more.

Most people walk around dehydrate and do not realize it. Think about that hunger pain you may have. Most of the time it means you are dehydrated especially if you just eaten an hour ago. A good tip someone gave me a couple of years ago was to drink a glass water and wait 10-20 minutes. Are you still hungry or full?

Hey Connie- I am not much of a water fan myself. I like to add lemon, lime or cucumber slices to mine to give it natural flavor! Good luck with that! And good luck on the show Monday!;)

Hi Connie,
I think I spent my entire childhood dehydrated! Isn't it great to learn all of this great information to help us feel better? I've been a "water drinker" for several years now and my favorite way to drink it is at room temperature - it takes too long to "chug it" when it's ice cold.
Have fun on the show! Can't wait to listen!!! You'll do GREAT!
Hugs,
